It seems that everyone likes the design star. For some, it conjures up the night sky. For others it is a religious symbol. With this article I will explore some of different forms of star tattoo design and meaning.
Let's look at the shape of the star itself. Almost all forms are symmetrical star. You can stretch some points but overall the points of the star are all distributed around the center of the star. The three main stars to be discussed ways are the 4 points, 5 points and 6 point stars. All can be linked as a tattoo design.
The 4-point star is a simple design. Usually placed with the points up, down, left and right in place of the X. This is how it is used primarily to designate the stars in the night sky (think Christmas). It has a beautiful tattoo design because of its simplicity. Often the tattoo design inked point 4 is to create a three-dimensional 3 Search for shaded half of each leg. This gives depth and beauty. Also, if the lower leg tattoo design star is stretched or stretched, sometimes denotes a cross or holy symbol.
The star of 5 points is probably the most common type of star shape. The five points of distance around of the star are equally separated from each other. Sometimes, the five points representing the five elements (Air, Fire, Earth, Water and Spirit).
A pentagram with one leg up, is considered a sign of good with the spirit of being the top decision point on the other 4 elements of matter. When 2 points until they can represent evil or the dark side (the shape of the goat) with the spirit that is below the 4 elements of matter.
When the star of five points were signed without intersecting lines which may represent stars in the sky, military power or rank, and peace. When drawn this way does not, the orientation is so important.
The star 6 points is more commonly known as the Star of David and is a religious symbol of the Jewish faith. It sometimes refers to the six days of creation. When the ink as this symbol, the lines of intersection of the 2 triangles that form the star are sometimes intertwined. That is, each section overlaps the next.
Other uses for the six-point star design are … Police or sheriff's badges, some gang symbols and other religions such as Muslims, Mormons, Zion Christian, Rastafari, and some Eastern religions.
