You just got your new Kindle and loaded with electronic books and audio books. After playing a while decides to make a few phone calls. When you turns, you find your Kindle screen freezes! Unresponsive. The site of the next and previous page buttons do not work. The
Firstly – do not worry. As with any other device mail, the Kindle occasionally has a few hiccups. There are a few things you can do to get your Kindle running again good as new.
1. Plug-in for your charger. Sometimes the Kindle battery can get decayed enough to be "frozen". Connect the charger, giving your Kindle battery power very often necessary to freeze the screen.
2. If that fails, try what is called a "soft reset". To perform a soft reset in his Kindle, press the
3. Performing a soft reset does not work, occasionally have to do a "hard reset". To do a hard reset —
– Make sure the Kindle battery is charged (about one hour of charge time should)
– Remove the charger cable to your Kindle
– Open the back of your Kindle
– Locate the small hole below the word "Reset"
– Open a small clip
– Enter the end of a clip in the hole and push gently for about 10 seconds
– The Kindle screen should go blank (or black) and then the Kindle should start again
4. When a hard reset does not work, may try to remove and replace the battery in the Kindle. This is a bit more complex, but not very difficult —
– Turn off your Kindle
– Remove the charger cable your Kindle
– Open the back of your Kindle
– Locate the battery gray, and the finger of first category to remove the battery
– Press the battery gently into the back of the compartment, then lift the battery
– Search the connector that connects the battery to the Kindle
– Gently pull the battery connector of the Kindle
– With the battery switch on the Kindle for about 5 seconds
– Replace the battery and close the back cover your Kindle
– Turn on the Kindle
If your Kindle is still "frozen" after completing the above steps, your next step is to contact the team of Amazon Kindle. Go to your account page of the Amazon – Select "Manage My Kindle" and contact the support team there. You can find the link at the top of the "Manage My Kindle page" on the right.
There is a good chance, however, that the steps get your Kindle previous UN-frozen and now coming back to enjoy their favorite e-book or audio book.
