On the one hand for changing a car battery dead, first has to prove he's dead. One of the more obvious symptoms that will tell if the battery is dead or dying is when one turns the keys and the car engine will not start. Sometimes a small click is heard, but the car still not start. This is caused by Cylin Boot, who is involved, but perhaps lacks sufficient battery power to make the engine turn. Another symptom is that the headlights do not light when the car is on. If a driver observes any of the symptoms above, should the battery test using a tester to determine the battery voltage. If it is established that the car battery is dead and needs replacement, the simple steps that should be the following.
Making use of a charger. The red wire should be connected to the positive terminal, while the black is connected to the negative. If the battery has an indicator of "green eye" to the charge, only stop charging when the indicator turns green. If you do not have one, the charger can be unplugged for thirty minutes and the battery voltage checked while the engine is stopped. If the result is 12.6 volts, the battery is fully charged, but if it is 12.3 volts, then the battery is only half charged. A multimeter set should be used for a voltage with a range of over 12 volts at full scale. A 5-amp charger usually takes at least eight hours to complete loading battery. Chargers that are more powerful is better left to the experts because they can cause the battery to fly.
The battery terminals should cleaned during this process. This is due to the construction of a white powder in the terminals will prevent reaching the starting current. It can be cleaned with baking soda and a damp cloth and sandpaper, if necessary. Careful not to short the terminal to a metal car part. The charging system can be checked with a voltmeter. If you load effectively, the voltage will be 14.0 to 14.5 volts. The current can also be watertight and in the process, causing the battery to discharge. If you suspect this is the case check using the multimeter measuring current side. To avoid accidents, the positive terminal of the battery must be covered and the negative terminal disconnected. It is worth noting that if the battery is charging well and the discharge current of 50 mA is less then the battery may be drained and the other may have to be purchased. To establish this, the driver can prove it in the garage of cars.
