Nintendo DS Lite is the advanced and better version of an original bulky. It also looks better than the original. Playing with this can be much simpler and more easy. It has convenient button placement and a much brighter screen of the previous version. The only complaint about the buttons might be too small for large hands.
The new brighter screen offers a much better games and is also adjustable. The touchscreen is much more advanced, unlike the original version does not scratch easily. As the screen is better protected from scratches that you can expect a longer life for the touch screen. The stylus also has been modified and is now larger and thicker and has a place to store it. The new DS is more practical than the original, it is more lightweight and fits better into the pocket.
The main retreat of Nintendo DS is that, with no color can play Game Boy or Game Boy. Another drawback is that the installation of the touch screen makes it more sensitive and thus should be treated more carefully. This installation can easily damage the system. A general problem in other states, you can not play movies or MP3, but this need not really care about the players as they will be more pleased have more games than movies or other entertainment.
Unlike when the original that was launched with a better collection and the variety of games for the Nintendo DS and more and more Nintendo DS games are being released quite often. The games are very interesting and attractive enough to keep captivated the Nintendo DS users. To put it simply, the DS Lite should be a better option for new users and can not make much difference to those who already have an earlier version, unless you do not mind the extra expense.
