How can we be friends?
Me and my bf recently broke up because we wanted to give each other space to see the opportunities around. It was a decision each other, but I think I miss you. I tried to ask again, but he says the benefits of being single bla bla. He has been there to comfort from then. And he wants to remain best friends, because, he said I'm his only friend in your life better. I still question the movies and still talk as normal. But it hurts for me to know that we can only have a relationship of friendship this way. Its painful and feels very natural to keep your arm, leaning toward him. I told him that i shouldn't to see it at least for a while, but he says he doesn't want. We still have to see each other at school in January as we are on the same course. What should I do. im scared, but I love a ps long, to walk with the same group of friends and I have been avoiding going out with them because it feels different and I feel uncomfortable.
It is very difficult to maintain a "friendly" relationship with someone who had feelings. For it is easy because it has closed their "feelings" relationship. But he is being selfish by not allowing time and space to get it. You have to do that, no matter how good it feels to spend time with he. If it is really your best friend has to understand and be there when you are ready to continue a friendship with him.
