If you have encountered the red ring of death of an error on your Xbox 360 does not feel left out. A lot of Xbox 360 owners have had to put that hole in the stomach after turning on your console and see the three red rings of doom.
The problem is that your game console has overheated around the two main chips, the CPU and the GPU. This has caused the solder connection of one or more of the pins of the circuit board which melts and flows out of the pins, cut the circuit. It is a very serious problem and can not be fixed by turning your XBox 360 from time to time, or by waiting.
Luckily for you, there are plenty of people out there who have worked in the way to repair this particular problem, XBox 360 for themselves. Some of them have even the effort of its methods of recording and production of Do-It-Yourself Repair Guide for the Xbox 360.
Currently there are three methods you can use to repair your console, besides sending it back to Microsoft for repair.
The method of towels. This is fairly simple. You wrap your Xbox in a towel, turn it on, and let it run for a while. Then turn it off and let cool for several hours. Fortunately, the problem is resolved.
The 3 Red Light Fix method. Open your Xbox 360 and remove the motherboard. After removing the heat sink components and make adjustments easier to them to selectively heat the motherboard with a gun heat or a hairdryer. After replacing the components and reassemble the console, plug it in and switched on. This is a safer and more effective than the method of repair of towels.
The organic method. Gustar the 3 Red Light Fix method, open your Xbox 360 and remove components. However, This method requires that you have a reasonable skill level and some training in electronics repair. Use appropriate tools, such as a multimeter and soldering iron, to trace the problem and fix it directly. This is the most effective method of repair.
Of these three methods, the method of towels should not be attempted. It has the potential of causing catastrophic damage to your Xbox. Overheating is bad for the components. That's why there are heatsinks on the chips in the first place. They are there to prevent heat damage.
The organic method is best suited to guarantee results. In use, you are following the problem in its source. When the towel method is like using a nuclear bomb to attack a single target, the professional method is like a sniper. Nice and accurate.
Most of us, however, lack the training and experience necessary to treat the types of repairs that the method of professional practice. The 3 Red Light Fix method instead can be done by anyone who can use a screwdriver to separate your Xbox. That does not mean that attention is not necessary. This is a complicated process and workshop repair will have to know what they are doing. For this, it is absolutely necessary to use a repair guide, unless you know exactly what you're doing.
If you do not know how to proceed, it is best to read through the guide repair several times. Then check out the videos and see demonstration carefully. Once you know what is happening, then it's time to fix your Xbox 360 yourself.
