Specifications: The Pioneer Elite PRO-111FD KURO offers a 50 widescreen 50 inch plasma with a resolution of 1920×1080 Full HD video-capable 1080p. Audio-wise the HDTV offers stereo surround sound, SRS WOW, TruBass, SRS Focus on balance, bass and treble controls. Each speaker offers 18 watts of total output of 36 Watts. Network Multimedia Player supports playback of digital audio, digital photo playback and digital video playback, along AAC, AC3, MP3, PCM, WAV, WMA, WMV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG and TIFF file format support.
Connection-wise HDTV offers four inputs HDMI, component video input, an AV input with S-Video and composite video, one AV input with only composite video, a PC input (with maximum resolution of 1280×1024), an RF input for cable and antenna, an analog audio output and optical digital audio output, along with a LAN port. The side panel offers an additional AV input, a headphone jack and a USB port.
Features & Performance: The Pioneer PRO-111FD menu system 50 Elite Kuro looks better and is more easy to navigate. While HDTV offers all the controls and options available to change its mode of pure predefined image was by far the better and more precise with abundant automatic functions for the perfect photograph.
Image quality in the Pioneer PRO-111FD Elite KURO 50 is on top of any scale available to blacks more deep around and accurate color. Excellent video processing complements the screen brightness while reducing various control options allow to change nothing. Additional features such as network and Internet connectivity along with built-in Media Player just add more value to the already near ideal plasma HDTV justify the higher price tag.
