Many Americans are fascinated by Japanese culture. We found much to love about Japanese culture, especially when it comes food. If you want a Japanese style to your game or you just want a snack Japanese Nice for yourself, here are some ideas.
Yakitori – This popular snack is a skewer, especially good for parties or casual dinners. It also complements Saki and Japanese beer.
To begin, soak your wooden skewers in water so they do not burn.
Ingredients: – 3 chicken breasts into small size pieces – 1 tbsp Tea sugar – 2 tbsp Sake soup – 3 v. tablespoons mirin – 3 v. tablespoon soy sauce
Pierce and slide the chicken onto skewers soaked. Mix all other ingredients in a bowl. Now grill the chicken on a spit, basting with sauce.
Edamame – is finally got easier to find edamame in grocery stores, now that the Americans have taken a shine to this popular Japanese Snack food.
It is easy to serve. You can take it like a bowl of pretzels (complete with beer for football games), or throw in a bag as if it were a trail mix to eat large pot of water to a boil. Add one tablespoon of salt water, then add the edamame. Boil for three to four minutes. Drain, then add a little salt. Let cool, then store in an airtight container.
Sunonomo (cucumber salad and daikon) – This is an excellent team for just about any meal, but it is also very well by itself as a refreshing snack.
What you need: – 1 Daikan radishes – 1 cucumber – 5 v. tablespoons rice vinegar – 2 tbsp tablespoon sugar – 1 tsp tsp salt
First peel radishes, then cut into thin slices. Cut the cucumber into slices as anything.
Cover the vegetables both in salt and let only for ten minutes, the salt soak in. Wash the slices, then drain completely. Mix sugar and vinegar, then pour the mixture over vegetables. Whether it stand for 15 minutes before serving.
You should not have much trouble finding Japanese snack foods, because the last years have seen an expansion in the Asian sections in grocery stores. Not to mention there are specialty stores in Asia more than there used.
