There was a time when RTS games were archaic and simple, which was not so long, to be honest. Most players prefer play Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii (more recently) and PSP downloads because they were the most difficult types of games and fun to play. But things have changed quite dramatically in a very short time. From real-time strategy games to your PC starts to move the high quality allowing players to wage total war on the web with battlefield-scale and impressive graphics. Of course, some games are better than others, but there's a new name for Supreme Commander which is a level above the rest.
When he was released on February 20, 2007 by Gas Powered Games, Supreme Commander has been received with great expectations. The long-awaited release is finally here and it turned out that this game RTS video is everything it promised to be and more. Players can engage multiple ground, air and naval battles in the same time as they transport troops via large aircraft, sending devastating air attacks with bombers, descend upon their enemies with Divisions Armored or delete an enemy position with a nuclear weapon.
Ten years ago RTS were still in their infancy. Internet was a phenomenon which could be accessed by relatively slow phone lines. The real-time interaction was slow and primitive. The first games simply not had the advantage of advanced technology such as computers and fast Internet connections to broadband.
Although the first games were RTS fun, they are not very impressive in terms of style. The technology simply could not keep up with the concepts of creative designers of these games. Players seriousness of the ancient Games, do not bother much because they were just happy to leave the predetermined format of Playstation, Nintendo, Xbox and PSP games.
In the early RTS games offer a new format where you could actually be part of the game and the process result. The players were just happy to do something new, different and challenging. After all, these were games that you might access the Internet and fight with people around the world! That alone is impressive for its time.
Until recently, video games were more about RTS the battle is with the economy and the tactics they were on the use of complex strategies to make war on a large scale. Supreme Commander is a different story because it gives players a game PC game with incredibly battlefields scale.
While it is set in the distant future, Supreme Commander uses modern war tactics and strategies for the war. There are three factions of humans left and they all fight for something different. The United Earth Federation believes in order and empire, the cybernetic Cybran group fighting for independence and foreign-enlightened Aeon Group seeks to liberate the universe.
In the past, bigger is not better always been the idea in mind for the developers of RTS games. But that has changed now that technology has improved considerably.
Supreme Commander embraces the idea of the vastness, as a Park Ranger in Alaska. There are battlefields scale this average: 20 km x 20 km in size, and others who are a size incredibly high: 81 km x 81 km!
This game does not propose some possibilities of complex strategy, but it is first and foremost question of scale. Players can design plans that involve creation of large armies that can fight simultaneously across large areas. Although it is mainly on the size, the game has a difficult variety scenarios with an inspiring victory multiplayer action that plays like a game of Monopoly with lethal weapons.
With all the recent publicity that Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PSP game downloads have received about their new technological advances, it is good to see that the real games video time strategy on the web are in phase with them. While some games are better than others, Supreme Commander is the top of the list. Battlegrounds large scale this game offers is pretty impressive, because it allows players to wage total war, with armies of several at the same time.
Size is the most impressive aspect, but it also offers complex game play with multiple scenarios for victory. Also, the rapid pace in which the action plays will challenge even the most cyber warrior-adept.
