Almost any video game with Mario's name and credibility is a safe buy for any fan of the mustachioed plumber. Mario's popularity soared to unrealistic that Nintendo I had to put him in a game where primary school children can learn something while at the same time have fun doing it. The result – Mario is Missing. In this debate, I will be talking about the SNES version.
This game is an edutainment game (which stands for education and entertainment). Mario has been kidnapped to play as Bowser and Luigi to save it. There are several objects that are missing in many large cities around the world, and you go around to various points and answer some trivia questions recover. The locals around the city give clues about where to do next. After finding three artifacts in each city, you have to find Yoshi and back to the outlet pipe, defeat the Koopa Kid, and move on.
The exploration of the game is very nice, although it can be tedious as you move forward. You will also learn much about each city, talking to local people and answer the questions necessary to open attractions like the Statue of Liberty, com State building, the Coliseum, among many others.
The music fits the edutainment genre like a glove. It's nice and relaxing and not optimistic, Happy Go Lucky Nintendo style. I personally do not like music, but like I said, is appropriate. The sound effects do their job very well and all, but there is Mario sounds just as involved. And the graphics are pretty ripped from Super Mario World, giving the feeling that looks the same.
In general, Mario that missing is a good game to play. It will be very boring quickly, especially if you know things about the artifacts that you have to collect. Get this game for its children learn and have fun, but play this if it really is not much more than playing.
