Radio-controlled devices have gained popularity as a hobby articles, besides being used for various other purposes. Toy grade devices are usually mounted models available in retail stores and are much cheaper than hobby-grade models. Toy quality models use electric power and work with batteries. Hobby-grade radio controlled devices are most useful and durable, but very expensive. Small cars and toys are used to indoor games. The radio control technology is combined with robotics to create various devices used in international robotics competitions held in Japan.
