Video Format
First and most common reason the Zune will not play videos is due to incompatible video format. Basically, the Zune supports the following video format:

Corrupted or infected video files
Another reason Zune videos will not play on the device is that the videos are actually false or corrupt. If you have received a video of some free download sites and does not play, the more likely it is a fake or worse infected with viruses, trojans and spywares. These videos not only damage equipment, have the potential to make damage to the Zune device, so when you play with them.
Delete files from your computer and device. Go download specialized portals that charge a fee time for unlimited downloads.
